*About Our Farm: *Round Hill Ranch was founded in 2020 in Foster, Rhode Island. Our mission is to create a way of life that we can pass on to our family and neighbors that reflects our passion for animals and for God. We serve the community by providing a local source of fresh beef, pork, chicken, and eggs. Round Hill Ranch also breeds Nigerian Dwarf goats, Nubian goats, Lamancha goats, and various mixed breeds from time to time! We have gone on many farming endeavors, and we are excited for this next step in our journey!
*Job Description: *We are looking for a seasonal worker to assist with and eventually take over farmers’ markets in the RI, MA, and CT areas. Our Schedule for the year is still being solidified but is generally below! You must be able to work all weekends, as this is a major source of income for us, and we need all positions filled. A couple exceptions can be made when communicated in advance. The job of running a farmers’ market booth for Round Hill Ranch will include traveling to farm to pick up materials, traveling to the market location at least 1 hour before the start of the market, setting up our tent, tables, and products for sale, selling to and assisting customers, and breaking down setup after the market. You must arrive to the market site at least 45 minutes prior and be ready to sell by the opening of the market. You may not breakdown before the close of the market. Pay includes setup time and one hour after the market to account for breakdown and travel.
Workers must be customer-focused and be able to work independently. Farming knowledge is not required— we can teach you along the way! This position requires more of a retail- experienced employee with customer service and visual merchandising skills.

* Valid driver’s license
* Reliable vehicle- will need an SUV or truck
* Ability to work independently and set up a display on their own
* Drive to work outdoors in all weather conditions (summer/fall conditions)
* Must be professional, outgoing, and friendly
* Ability to lift up to 50lb (coolers will be full of meat and heavy)
* Customer-service skills
* Basic mathematic skills
* Register/money-handling skills
* Retail experience preferred
* Passion for farming and local producers preferred!
* Visual merchandising skills preferred

Each assistant would take on one market per day— you would not ever be responsible for more than one per day!
* Sunday: Foster Farmers Market 9am-12:30pm at Shady Acres Diner (Foster, RI)
* Sunday: Chopmist Hill Farmers Market
* Saturday: Pawtuxet Village Farmers’ Market 9am-12pm (60 Rhodes Place, Cranston, RI)
* Saturday: Hope Street Market 9-1 (Providence, RI)
* Saturday: Scituate Farmers Market 9-1 (Scituate, RI)
* Friday: Oxford Farmers Market 2:30-6:30pm (Oxford Town Common, Oxford, MA— once per month until October)
* Weekdays tbd and optional
