Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and outgoing Community Marketer to join our team at Tutor Doctor. As a Community Marketer, you will be the face of Tutor Doctor in your local community, responsible for generating leads and building relationships. You will engage with parents and community members to promote our services and increase brand awareness.
Key Responsibilities
Community Outreach & Sign Placement
Conduct door-to-door outreach in residential neighborhoods to request permission to place Tutor Doctor lawn signs.
Confidently and professionally introduce yourself to homeowners and explain the purpose of the visit.
Place marketing signs in approved, high-visibility locations while following local guidelines and brand standards.
Track locations, permissions, and activity accurately. Brand Representation
Represent Tutor Doctor in a friendly, respectful, and professional manner at all times.
Answer basic questions from homeowners and community members about Tutor Doctor
services (no selling or closing required).
Activity Tracking & Feedback
Maintain accurate records of doors knocked, signs placed, and time spent in the field.
Share observations and feedback from the field to help improve outreach strategies
and materials.
Follow established processes and expectations for consistency and accountability.
Qualifications & Traits
Comfortable with door-to-door community outreach and engaging with homeowners one-on-one.
Outgoing, personable, and confident speaking with people you don’t know.
Polite, respectful, and able to handle a variety of homeowner responses professionally.
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently without direct supervision.
Strong communication and listening skills.
Organized and detail-oriented when tracking activity and results.
Comfortable being outdoors and on your feet for extended periods.
Flexible availability, including daytime and early evening hours.
