About the Company

Thistle is a mission-driven food-tech company helping people get and stay healthy while improving the sustainability of the food system. Founded in 2013, Thistle began with cold-pressed juices at farmers markets and has grown into a nationwide subscription platform delivering plant-forward meals, snacks, and juices directly to customers’ doors.

The company operates a rare combination of consumer technology and complex real-world operations, building products that impact both the customer experience and how fresh food is produced, packed, and delivered at scale. Thistle is remote-first, values sustainability, and prioritizes long-term impact over short-term hype.

The Role

Thistle is hiring a Senior Product Manager to help lead product strategy and execution across both customer-facing experiences and internal operational tools. This is a high-ownership, generalist PM role on a very small product team—ideal for someone who wants broad scope, real influence, and the opportunity to shape how product is built at the company.

You will work closely with engineering, data, design, operations, culinary, and leadership to translate customer needs and business goals into shipped products.

What You’ll Do

  • Own end-to-end product development across consumer and internal platforms

  • Help define product vision, strategy, and roadmaps across near- and long-term horizons

  • Lead discovery through customer research, data analysis, and stakeholder collaboration

  • Work backward from customer needs to define clear requirements and trade-offs

  • Partner closely with Engineering, Data Science, Design, Marketing, Operations, Culinary, and Support

  • Use qualitative and quantitative insights to guide decisions and prioritize impact

  • Drive launches, iteration, and continuous improvement across multiple product life cycles

  • Communicate clearly through strong written documentation and stakeholder alignment

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product management experience

  • Experience owning and shipping consumer-facing products

  • Proven track record of leading products through multiple life cycles

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills

  • Ability to balance long-term strategy with near-term execution

  • Comfort using data to inform decisions and build business cases

  • Experience contributing to technical discussions with engineering teams

Nice to Have

  • Experience in high-growth or startup environments

  • Exposure to operational, logistics, or manufacturing software

  • Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation

  • Intermediate SQL and Excel skills

  • Interest in health, sustainability, or food-tech

Culture & Values

  • High ownership and autonomy in a lean product organization

  • Strong customer empathy and stakeholder collaboration

  • Clear, structured written and verbal communication

  • Bias toward execution and real-world impact

  • Commitment to work-life balance and sustainable pace

  • Mission-driven, inclusive culture focused on doing meaningful work

Compensation

  • Base salary: $140,000–$156,000

  • Employment type: Full-time, fully remote (US only)

  • Visa sponsorship: Not available
