Ecosystem & Community Marketing Manager

About Us…

We are Simply Staking, an all-in-one blockchain team comprising datacentre specialists, DevOps professionals and software engineers. Our expertise lies in building infrastructure tooling and blockchains, as well as operating blockchain infrastructure across multiple networks. All of our infrastructure runs on self-hosted or co-located servers, without any utilisation of cloud services and our main headquarters are located in Malta.

We’re looking for an Ecosystem & Community Marketing Manager to own and scale our communities and events strategy across our blockchain products. You’ll work closely with the Head of Marketing to execute campaigns, grow engaged crypto-native communities, and represent the brand at key industry events. This is a hands-on role for someone who understands how blockchain communities actually grow not just follower counts, but real engagement, retention and advocacy.

What You’ll Do

Community Growth & Management

• Own and grow our communities across X, Discord, Telegram, and other relevant platforms
• Design and execute community campaigns (AMAs, quests, incentives, contests, etc)
• Actively engage with users, founders, validators, and partners in the ecosystem
• Turn community feedback into actionable insights for marketing and product teams
• Support launches with coordinated community pushes

Events & IRL Presence

• Plan and execute our presence at major crypto events (conferences, side events, meetups)
• Organise our own community events, dinners, workshops, and partner activations
• Coordinate logistics, messaging, and post-event follow-ups
• Work with partners, sponsors, and ecosystems to co-host events

Marketing Execution (Well-Rounded)

• Support campaign execution across social, content, partnerships, and launches
• Coordinate with design, product, and external partners
• Track performance of community and event initiatives and report back on impact
• Help shape narratives and positioning alongside the Head of Marketing

What We’re Looking For

• 3–6+ years experience in marketing, with direct experience in blockchain / crypto
• Proven track record of growing and managing blockchain communities
• Deep understanding of crypto culture, Web3 narratives, and ecosystem dynamics
• Experience running or supporting crypto events (online and IRL)
• Strong communication skills, written, verbal, and online presence
• Comfortable being hands-on and operational, not just strategic
• Able to work autonomously in a fast-moving environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with validators, staking, DeFi, infra, or L2 ecosystems
• Existing relationships within crypto communities or ecosystems
• Experience working with global, remote teams
