Seeking a kind, friendly, and energetic Farmers Market Sales Associate to join our team! Must have the ability to engage customers to try lots of samples, providing an educating and inviting sales pitch with product information, while upselling and driving high sales! Providing customers with an unforgettable 5-Star customer experience!
This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a preference for being on their feet (rather than at a desk) in an outdoor environment, and are passionate about health and nutrition!Opportunities for other positions such as jarring and labeling products, and in store sampling through the week, if you would like more work are a great fit for the company!
*Duties*
* Arrive at 7am every Sunday morning in Stuart to load up products
* Drive to the Farmers Market in Downtown Stuart “Market on Main” Street
* Set up Booth w/ tent, tables, signage and products
* Actively engage with customers, provide lots of samples, info and recommendations!
* Provide customers with product knowledge and promote its features and benefits.
* Build rapport with current and future customers.
* Accurately process cash and credit card transactions.
* Track inventory and correctly report sales.
* Set up and break down the booth, ensuring it is clean and organized.
* Break down booth at 2pm, load up car, drop off remaining products and collect your pay.
*Experience*
* Experience in sales or customer service
* Experience or ability to perform engaging and knowledgable product demos
* Self-motivated and adaptable to changing customer needs and market conditions
* Time management and organizational skills
*Requirements*
* Commit to working every Sunday
* Able to lift at least 55 LB.
* Reliable Vehicle
* Valid Drivers License

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 8 per week
