Community Marketing Specialist

Clearwater Credit Union is accepting applications for a Community Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing Team. This role is vital to Clearwater’s ability to build brand awareness, attract new members, and cultivate brand love. In this role, you’ll plan and support the execution of sponsored community events and activities, credit union events, career fairs, and industry/association partner activities. Along the way, you’ll fulfill your desire to make a difference and have a positive impact on the people and communities we serve.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities 

• Develop the credit union’s annual community marketing strategies, in alignment with the credit union’s annual marketing plan.
• Develop and implement the credit union’s annual Community Marketing calendars.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop creative, engaging, in-person brand and product experiences for use at community events.
• Ensure that community events help us achieve stated marketing and business goals, align with our values, and help us fulfill our mission.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to create high-quality, engaging content for use across all marketing channels, including writing copy for event materials and other materials, as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in marketing, communications, or related field OR equivalent work experience. 
• Minimum three years’ on-the-job experience in experiential event marketing that drives intended results.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write marketing copy and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Superb project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
