Role:
Glowbar is seeking a Community Marketing Manager to own field marketing and influencer marketing efforts. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Integrated Marketing, this role will be an integral part of the marketing team, responsible for driving revenue via appointments and increasing brand love from members. This team member will be outgoing, creative, and organized — executing a steady stream of field marketing events and partnerships while growing the impact of influencer partnerships. The Community Marketing Manager will be based in Glowbar’s HQ in New York City or D.C.and should expect to spend ~75% of their time in the field, with studios or at events. This role will support our NJ, DMV, and PA locations and will also work from our NYC HQ when necessary.

Field Marketing:
Identify and cultivate relationships with businesses and communities local to our studios to establish partnerships and bring new clients to Glowbar
Track and manage partnership conversations by market in a pipeline
Execute on required number of field marketing events in NSO Playbook and Field Marketing Playbook
Act as a brand ambassador within the community, participating in local events and fostering positive relationships with current and potential members
Own and refine Glowbar’s field marketing playbook and processes for your region, establishing best practices for high-ROI partnerships and events
Report out on field marketing efforts, tracking event attendance, leads, bookings, and sentiment
Brand Partnerships:
Support the Sr. Manager of Integrated Marketing with sponsored brand partnership execution, from coordination with studio operations to communication with external partners
Prospect, secure, and execute (two) sponsored studio buyout events in 2025 to drive revenue for the business
Influencer Marketing:
Develop and nurture relationships with influencers, clients and the overall community both in-studio and virtually
Build influencer lists for new studio openings, book influencer appointments, and build lasting relationships through membership trade programs
Grow our existing community of always-on influencers, aiming to increase # of appointments driven from influencers
Own influencer content creation brief and deliverable tracking to improve the quality and quantity of user-generated content
Report out on influencer marketing efforts
Studio Responsibilities
Lead Community Marketing For New Studio Openings: Oversee and support marketing for new studio openings beginning three months prior in order to achieve lead generation and founding membership goals, and provide continued support post-launch to ensure consistent visibility, successful onboarding of Studio Manager, and local partnership development
Train Studio Managers: Develop and deliver training for Studio Managers focused on community engagement best practices, equipping them to lead effectively and build lasting local relationships within their markets
Drive Community Engagement for Mature Studios: Design and implement initiatives that sustain and grow community interest in established studios, ensuring continued relevance and outreach within local markets
Serve as Regional Engagement Expert: Act as the subject matter expert for community engagement, creating regional toolkits, playbooks, and best practices to guide studio teams across all locations
Qualifications:
You’re energized by meeting new people, enjoy starting conversations and you are at your best when out in the community building authentic connections
4+ years of experience in field marketing, brand partnerships, and/or influencer marketing
Ability to travel up to 75% (dependent on location)
Proven track record of developing and executing successful local and community marketing
Strong networking and partnership-building skills
Excellent organizational and event management abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
You are an inquisitive problem solver by nature
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Bonus points if you have experience working with Boulevard and a passion for skincare
Salary Range: $70,000 – $85,000
The salary for this role is location-dependent and will be offered within the following ranges:
New York City (NYC), New Jersey (NJ), and Washington, D.C.: $70,000 – $85,000
