SUMMARY
The Marketing Assistant will support the development and execution of the organization's marketing plans, coordinate orders of outsourced, printed signage, design and manage display of on-site digital signage, support data collection for the 2026 mobile app, and development of our internal PR database. They will also assist in coordinating community engagement activities and maintaining the website's event calendar, while ensuring adherence to deadlines and maintaining a positive work environment.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred with a concentration in Marketing or Communications. Candidates should have at least 1–3 years of professional marketing experience and familiarity with one or more graphic design software programs (Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva). Prior experience in live events, office administration, data management, social media channel content, and project management is a plus.

Duties are performed primarily in an office setting. Operates computer and standard office equipment, such as telephone and copier/printer. Must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, and occasionally lift or move (more than 20 pounds). Environmental elements includes some exposure to wetness or humidity, work near mechanical parts, work in high places, outdoor weather conditions, extreme temperatures (non-weather).
This is a seasonal position; hours may vary and could exceed 40 per week especially during peak planning times and the annual state fair.
