He/she is responsible for managing the marketing activities, member retention, market share and membership goals. Includes maximizing member, provider and community participation in a systematic, comprehensive program. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Health Related field, Marketing, Communications, Social Work, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field required, Masters degree preferred.
5 or more years’ hands on experience working in a healthcare outreach, marketing and communications. environment with specific experience related to the Medicaid population.
At least 5 years of Supervisory/Manager and Team leading Experience.
Bilingual (Spanish speaking, reading, and writing) preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimum direction.
Ability to manage priorities and complete tasks in a timely manner within outlined timeframes.
Must have strong communication, presentation, verbal, and written skills.
Certification/Licensure:
Must have a valid Drivers License issued by the state of Texas.
Must obtain CHW Community Health Worker certification within the first year of being in the role.
