La Pasta LLC is seeking a friendly, outgoing personality to join our team! We produce delicious long-cut pastas, raviolis, sauces, spreads, and desserts to sell at our two storefronts and at the local farmers markets in the Seattle area.
In this role you will help to both produce and sell the product we manufacture for customers at both our stores and Farmers Markets! This immersive experience will provide not only a fun seasonal (approx. May-Oct) experience, but also an opportunity to learn and grow surrounded by a supportive community. This position is primarily for selling at the farmers markets, but also includes assisting with production tasks at our Wedgwood facility as needed.
*Market Responsibilities:*
* Responsibly drive a company vehicle to and from the assigned farmers market location
* Independently set up, run, and put away the La Pasta booth at assigned farmers markets
* Present and sell company products at various farmers markets
* Independently complete packing, reporting, and re-stock related to assigned market
* Work in a food-safe and clean manner
*Production Responsibilities:*
* Complete production, packaging, and cleaning/sanitation tasks with quality and efficiency (for example: portioning ravioli, weighing sauces, ect)
* Complete customer purchases, product restocking, and product receiving as needed
* Work in a food-safe and clean manner
*Basic Qualifications:*
* Valid and clean Driver's License - driving company car is required
* Smartphone with Square app capability (any smartphone should work)
* Have or willing to get a valid Washington State Food Workers Card within 14 days of hire
* Must be able to stand on your feet for 4-5 hours at a time
* Ability to lift 120+ lb cooler independently and safely
* Punctual, reliable, and detail-oriented
* Friendly, outgoing personality
*Preferred Qualifications:*
* Ability or willing to learn to drive full vans
* Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
* Passion for cooking and local food systems is a plus!
*Weekly day range:*
* Wednesday-Sunday
* Weekends required
*Ability to commute/relocate:*
* Seattle, WA: Reliably commute to/from the La Pasta Wedgewood store for morning (6:45 AM arrival) and evening markets (8:30 PM return) (Required)
