*Position Overview: *We’re seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented *Farmers Market Manager* to oversee the day of operations. The market manager will ensure the health and safety of the market environment, implement Raw Inspiration's policies and procedures, and work closely with vendors, customers, and local authorities. This role requires someone with excellent communication skills, a passion for community-building, and a commitment to safety. We are looking for covering (fill in) and permanent market managers.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Oversee the overall operation and logistics of assigned farmers’ markets and handle anything needed as the onsite representative.
* Enforce policies and procedures established by Raw Inspiration.
* Ensure compliance with Health Department, Agricultural Department, Fire Department, and Department of Transportation regulations.
* Serve as the security officer for the market, maintaining a safe and secure environment for all participants.
* Communicate effectively with supervisors, vendors, customers, and authorities, fostering positive relationships.
* Handle conflict resolution and de-escalation in a professional and calm manner.
* Work collaboratively with other team members to provide excellent customer service.
* Manage the setup and breakdown of market supplies, including transporting necessary equipment and market payments at the end of each market day.
* Be proactive in ensuring safety, market rules and cleanliness throughout the day.
