Position Overview:
We are seeking a high-performing Content & Community Marketer to lead the creation of compelling content, grow and engage industry-specific communities, and drive lead generation, customer acquisition, and retention for Matta - a B2B marketplace for chemicals, raw materials, ingredients, and commodities. You will be responsible for building trust, simplifying product communication, and converting engagement into qualified business opportunities through strategic content and community activation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a scalable content strategy aligned with the sales funnel, seasonal trends, and trade needs.
- Create high-value content (blogs, landing pages, whitepapers, case studies, product explainers, customer stories) for suppliers, procurement managers, buyers, and manufacturing leads.
- Simplify complex product information into clear, compelling narratives.
- Own the editorial calendar and ensure timely publication.
- Develop social media copy that resonates with the target audience and supports design efforts.
- Create B2B content that explains complex topics (e.g., logistics, raw materials) in a relatable and actionable way.
- Collaborate with design, product, and sales teams to create marketing collateral, sales tools, and product content.
- Conduct industry research to identify content themes that resonate with the audience.
- Drive organic traffic by implementing SEO best practices and conducting keyword research to optimize content.
- Track content performance and optimize for engagement and lead quality using analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console).
- Use content and community channels to attract, qualify, and convert high-quality leads.
- Develop lead magnets (e.g., guides, calculators, reports) to capture prospect data.
- Build targeted email sequences and landing pages to nurture contacts into leads.
- Align closely with sales to ensure lead hand-off and campaign optimization.
- Build and manage Mattaβs trade-focused communities (WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Email) across manufacturing verticals.
- Respond to enquiries and initiate product-focused conversations to drive sales.
- Push available products into communities to stimulate demand and repeat engagement.
- Host virtual sessions, product drops, and feedback loops to grow trust and participation.
- Develop segmentation strategies to improve targeting and retention within communities.
- Use content and community engagement to convert prospects into active users.
- Create automated email workflows for onboarding and retention.
- Design retention campaigns (case studies, product alerts, how-to content) to drive reorders.
- Track churn signals and re-engage inactive users with targeted content.
- Repurpose long-form content into short-form posts, infographics, email copy, and community snippets.
- Support campaigns with the performance marketer to drive leads and conversions.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in B2B content marketing.
- Strong writing, storytelling, and editing skills
- Demonstrated success in generating leads through content and community marketing.
- Experience driving measurable customer acquisition and retention through content.
- Proven ability to build and manage engaged communities across different channels. (WhatsApp, Email, LinkedIn, Telegram or Facebook)
- Experience managing and scaling digital communities.
- Proficiency in SEO and email marketing.
- Proficiency in creating landing pages.
- Comfortable using CRMs, CMS platforms, and marketing automation tools
- Strategic thinker with excellent project management and team collaboration skills.
